Hytera HP715Ex Digital ATEX Two Way Radio

The Hytera HP715Ex digital and analogue ATEX two-way radio comes in two variants according to hazard level certification:

  • HP715Ex IIC – gas group: IIC (e.g. Acetylene, Hydrogen)
  • HP715Ex IIA – gas group: IIA (e.g. Propane)

The HP715Ex digital handheld radio features a safe battery and anti-static technology. Silicone encapsulation technology prevents liquids, inflammable dust, or explosive gas from intruding into internal circuits. Other circuit protection mechanisms also limit internal circuit electrical energy to non-ignitable levels.

The HP715Ex is also highly durable and certified with IP6X and MIL-STD-810H, having passed tough reliability tests, including accelerated life testing, impact testing with a 1.47-inch screen and drop testing. It is rugged enough to withstand impact, dust and the other demands of the toughest environments.

Clear radio transmissions also come through in the loudest environments. The HP715Ex has a 2 W speaker and AI-based noise cancellation for clear audio transmission in noisy environments. Automatic gain control also automatically increases or decreases microphone gain to ensure consistent volume in transmission.
