As a professional dual mode radio, the Hytera PDC680 is engineered for effortless usability. The device’s ergonomic and modular design make it easy to operate with one hand. As well as this, it also combines a highly durable radio communication device and a sophisticated smartphone in one.

The PDC680 Hytera digital radio can automatically switch between DMR networks and public networks. The device has the ability to register to both networks using the same ID and will automatically switch to select the optimal network. The PDC680 also provides fast and accurate positioning through GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, BDS and A-GPS for outdoors and location-based service (LBS) and WLAN for indoors.

The full range of Android apps are available on the PDC680. The device supports system-level apps developed by Hytera as well as third-party apps. Workers can work more efficiently and adopt popular app-based methods of working.

With dual HD cameras, the PDC680 allows workers and responders to capture on-site pictures and videos for live streaming or upload. Control rooms and managers can use videos for situation management or for evidence and information purposes. Management teams can also remotely manage radios in batches, including upgrading, programming, permission controls and app management, data backup and recovery.

The PDC680 is also highly secure. Voice and data are secured through authentication, software and hardware encryption. TrustZone protects the system, full-disk encryption (FDE) protects the user data, air interface encryption (AIE) and end-to-end encryption (E2EE) protects the voice and data communication.
