Kenwood NX-1700AE VHF Analogue Mobile Radio

The Kenwood NX-1700AE analogue VHF mobile radio functions with a maximum 260 channels per radio, 128 zones per radio and 250 channels per zone and wide band UHF 70 MHz coverage.

Upgradable digital/analogue mode by software option without needing a firmware upgrade. Devices also feature various scan functions, including dual/single priority scan and multi/single zone scan.

Kenwood have provided their best two-way radio audio hardware on the NX-1700AE, with high-quality speakers and microphones. Messages come through loudly and clearly through the in-built 6 W speaker. The TX/RX audio profile is also customisable with equaliser and microphone type settings as well as auto-gain.

The white backlit LCD display also displays clear information through an easy to read 10-digit, 13-character frame. A 7-colour LED indicator quickly displays radio status to operators, and device operation is easy to master.

Other functions include GPS connectivity, ignition sensing technology, an electronic serial number (ESN), a D-sub 15-pin connector on the rear panel, remote stun, kill and check, horn alert, public address and a 3.5 mm audio jack for an external speaker.
