Kenwood NX-1700DE VHF Digital Mobile Radio

The Kenwood NX-1700DE is a cost-effective and adaptable solution for operations and enterprise uses, such as vehicle fleets, security or construction projects.

The Kenwood NX-1700DE long-range two-way radio is a multi-protocol support single radio device, first and foremost. NX-1700DE radios operate under an NXDN or DMR digital CAI, and FM analogue protocols. On top of this, the NX-1700DE has many useful features and a high-quality build.

Additional features include an electronic serial number (ESN), display customisation, lone worker alert function, GPS connectivity, ignition sense, remote stun, kill and check, D-sub 15-pin connector on the rear panel and a 3.5 mm audio jack for external speakers. Devices also feature an orange-coloured emergency button and customisable emergency functions.

There are also multiple scan functions, including dual/single priority scan and multi/single zone scan.

Upgrade the device’s digital/analogue mode software with only a simple software upgrade.

The Kenwood NX-1700DE is also intuitive and easy to control. The white backlit LCD display features an easy to understand 10-digit, 13-character display for aliases and icons. A 7-color LED indicator also displays radio status instantly, and button controls are arranged on a smart panel.

The NX-1700DE features the Kenwood Radio Company’s classic clear and crisp sound quality. The TX/RX audio profile can also be customised with equaliser and auto gain controls as well as microphone type settings. Speakers are 6 W loud at maximum.
