The Kenwood NX-1800DE UHF digital mobile radio is perfect for organisations that need versatile, multi-protocol support.

Protocols devices support include NXDN and DMR, and devices operate in mixed digital and FM analogue mode. It is perfect for in-vehicle use for organisations requiring flexible long-range communications for teams on the ground. Devices are also future-proofed with software upgradable digital/analogue mode software, cutting out the need for a firmware upgrade.

Maximum 260 channels per radio, 128 zones per radio and 250 channels per zone.

The Kenwood NX-1800DE is also built with great Kenwood audio hardware, a clear display and intuitive controls. Devices feature a 6 W loud speaker and a customisable TX/RX audio profile. Audio is customised with audio equaliser, auto gain and microphone type controls. The display is an ultra-clear white backlit LCD display with a 10-digit, 13-character frame. A 7-color LED indicator also displays radio status at a glance.

The Kenwood NX-1800DE is also packed with advanced features for scanning, emergencies and much more.

Emergency functions are customisable, and devices feature a clear orange-coloured emergency button. Scan functions including dual/single priority scan and multi/single zone scan. Other features include lone worker monitoring, voice announcements, electronic serial number (ESN), a D-sub 15-pin connector on the rear panel, GPS connectivity, ignition sensing and a 3.5 mm audio jack for external speakers.

Devices are also IP54 and MIL-STD 810C/D/E/F/G/H rated against in-use wear and tear, dust and water.
