The Motorola R7Ex FKP is ATEX and IECEx certified for use in environments with flammable gases, vapours, mist or dust. The device protects workers from the risk of explosion and delivers easy to use and reliable communication functions. It is a secure and reliable push-to-talk radio, first of all. On top of this, it features messaging functions as well as a built-in voice recording and playback feature, so workers never miss a message. Other features are GNSS location tracking, lone worker and fall alert features.
The R7Ex Motorola handheld radio excels in noisy environments with sources of loud noise, such as generators and machinery. Not only does it deliver loud audio, but it also features modern audio-enhancing software. Automatic gain control and received audio levelling smooth out the differences in users’ voice levels and microphone placement. Intelligent audio also automatically adjusts the radio output based on background noise levels to avoid blaring messages or missed calls.
Workers also find the MOTOTRBO R7Ex easy to operate. It is built with easy-to-use controls and clear status indications, meaning workers can focus on the task rather than being distracted by their radio. Workplace supervisors can also program devices over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth while workers are using them.
The Motorola R7Ex FKP is built to survive for years in tough conditions. It is IP66 & IP68 rated against water and dust. It can withstand full submergence in water, fine dust and even powerful water jets or disinfectant contamination.
