This versatile headset boasts an earcup mounted PTT button and a FLX2 cable platform, which is adaptable to a variety of handheld devices and is designed to help provide hearing protection and facilitate clear communication in noisy environments. The noise-cancelling boom microphone is dust and waterproof to IP68 standards and is optimised to transmit the user’s voice effectively in loud areas. The EEP-100 EU 3M Peltor Level Dependent Earplugs are electronic wireless earplugs that protect your ears from high noise levels while enhancing your situational awareness and communication. By using these earplugs, you can communicate with individuals nearby and perceive ambient sounds without jeopardising your hearing protection.
The earplugs are user-friendly and have a single button to switch them on/off and to select low, normal or high volume settings. They are lightweight, fit well with hats and come with changeable ear tips to adjust the level of protection and ensure a comfortable fit.
The earplugs are equipped with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that provide up to 16 hours of continuous operation, with a charging time of approx. 180 minutes. Additionally, they can be charged using the micro-USB jack on the charging case, which has a clear lid that makes the charging status indicator easily visible. The earplugs are protected in wet and dirty environments by a rubber sealing ring around the case and the case’s waterproof rating complies with IP54.
